We will have a Hot Dog Stand on the corner of Montezuma and Campanile on Wednesday, April 5 at 11:00am. Volunteers are needed.
Food donations are very much appreciated. Please visit the College Ministry table in the patio after Sunday worship to sign up to volunteer. Thank you for your support of the College Ministry.
Every December, the Military Outreach Ministries (M.O.M.) set up Christmas stores to benefit our San Diego military families. Children of enlisted military families are invited to come and select (shop) for a toy.
Please help them to stock on toys for children baby – 14 years old. We can only accept toys that are unwrapped. Bring unwrapped toys to church on Sundays or to the office, Monday – Friday during office hours (9:00 am – 4:00 pm). Last year, we served over 400 families and we hope to do more this year. A few SUGGESTIONS: Board Games, Balls, Action Figures, Dolls, Toy Cars/Trucks, and $10-$15 gift cards. We will host 4 “Toy Stores” and the first will be December 3rd.
Contact Carolyn Taxer through the church office at (619) 582-8480 if you have any questions or would like to volunteer. Inquiries can also be sent to our e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.

Thank you for supporting the military families of San Diego!
Are you looking for a new way to experience the true spirit of Christmas in your gift giving this year? Come to the Holiday Mission Fair November 6 in the Faith Family Center from 10:45am to 12:30pm. This is an opportunity to honor a friend or relative by giving a gift in their name to one of our mission ministries, such as Habitat for Humanity, PUM, MOM, or Heifer. In addition, international gifts of jewelry and handcrafts will be available for purchase. Come and help celebrate the true spirit of Christmas on November 6.
This year for VBS we will be going on a Deep Sea Discovery! VBS will be August 1st-5th 9am-12pm. More info here.
Military Outreach Ministries (MOM) will again set up Christmas stores for our San Diego military families. These Christmas stores will be a place for military families to come and shop for gifts for their children. MOM serves many families in this way during the Christmas holidays.
Help the MOM bring Christmas joy to our military families. Please bring unwrapped toys for babies, toddlers, children ages 2-12 and teens 13-14.
See Carolyn Taxer on Sundays after worship with any questions, or leave a message for her at the church office by calling (619) 582-8480 or e-mail email@example.com.

SDSU students are already coming back into town and we are just two weeks away from the start of a new semester. College Ministry is always looking for more people to help with Hotdog Stands and other programs and to bring new ideas to the committee. If you are interested, our next meeting is this Tuesday, August 11 at 2:00pm. If you are unable to attend this meeting, but are still interested in helping out, please contact Sarah Scardino thru the church office, (619) 582-8480 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The first late night Hotdog Stand for the upcoming semester will be on Friday, August 21st. Volunteers are needed. Also, the Intervarsity hosted 48-Hr Prayer Room is happening August 21, 22, and 23. The BEACON, our Sunday college gathering will start August 23 at 7:00pm. Faith Presbyterian Church will be hosting a BBQ to welcome our SDSU students prior to the BEACON on Sunday, August 30th. So there are many volunteer opportunities you can participate in. Thank you for your generosity and kindness to our SDSU neighbors.
On Monday morning, May 11th we will be having a coffee stand for our SDSU neighbors. Please join us to host a coffee stand. We welcome donation of baked goods and fruits. If you would like to volunteer, there are many ways you can help: food preparation (come early); clean up; serving; or just being there to greet the college students. Please see Sarah Scardino after church on Sunday. There will also be a College Ministry table in the patio on Sunday. So check it out for time and volunteer opportunities.
Next Sunday, May 10th, Presbyterian Urban Ministries (PUM) will receive food from the U.S. Postal Service’s Annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. PUM will be needing volunteers to help with receiving and sorting of food. Can you help? Call (619) 232-2753 or send e-mail to email@example.com.
