To all college students and the community: We will be having our Hot Dog Stands, Friday, October 7 at 8:00pm, and Wednesday, October 19 at 11:00am. We look forward to meeting you. Come join us.
To the congregation: do you think of yourself as the “Bun Master” type? Are you more of a people person and are well-suited to be a “Greeter”? Perhaps you prefer to remain behind the scenes and donate baked goodies. Or would you prefer to be a “Roadie” and help set up the pavilion/tables/etc? There are loads of opportunities, so call the church office now at (619) 582-8480 and get the message to Sarah Scardino or Janet Sansom that you want to help.
Spring semester is almost over. We are serving coffee for SDSU students on Monday, May 9 and Tuesday, May 10 at 9:00am to about noon time.
Donations of cookies, muffins and fruits are much appreciated. Also, we need volunteers to prepare, set up, serve and clean up. Look for the sign up sheet on the College Ministry table in the courtyard on Sunday.
Thank you for your continued support of our College Ministry.
When God made the world in the Creation, he created humankind as His image bearers and stewards, placing them in the Garden of Eden. Humankind messed that up in the Fall and God exiled them into the world, away from Eden. In other words, “strangers in a strange land.” For the Life of the World; Letters to the Exiles is video series that explores what it means to be human in an exiled world, yet a world in which the exile is moving towards a restoration with the Kingdom of God. It tackles the question of “what is my Salvation actually for?” It’s an amazing look at how God’s purposes are interwoven into each aspect of our lives, viewed in seven 20 minute videos. Exiled, but not forgotten! For more information, please visit For the Life of the World website.
Faith Presbyterian Church will host a For the Life of the World marathon on Saturday, April 23. We hope you’ll join us!
