The 9th Annual Golf 4 Good outing to benefit the Presbyterian Urban Ministries will be held Monday, September 28 at Admiral Baker Golf Course, 2400 Admiral Baker Road, San Diego, CA 92120.
The outing, known as Golf4Good (G4G), is the major fund-raiser for PUM. Green fees, cart fees, buffet lunch, soft drinks on the course, access to the driving range and range balls, live and silent auctions, and dinner after the tournament are all included in the registration fee of $175.00 per golfer, $150.00 if paid by August 31.
G4G is not just for golfers. PUM supporters wishing to attend only the buffet dinner, live and silent auctions, and awards ceremony may do so for $30.00
There are many opportunities for churches, church committees, individuals, and companies who are interested in golf outing or being hole sponsors to take part in G4G. Your ambassador, Bob Arthur, can discuss sponsorship options with you. All sponsorship contributions benefit PUM. Sponsors will be recognized by appropriate signs and will be listed in the tournament program, as well as receiving personal letter of thanks from PUM for their contribution.
All proceeds will go to PUM to support their Christ-centered services to the poor and homeless of urban San Diego.
The Golf4Good (G4G) tournament that benefits the Presbyterian Urban Ministries (PUM) is scheduled for Monday, September 8th at the Admiral Baker Golf Course. Volunteers are needed to check in golfers, monitor the hole-in-one event, and other prize-holes, distribute drinks to golfers on the course from carts, place and collect the prize-hole signs on the golf course, help to decorate banquet tables, and assist in the silent auction. If you are willing to volunteer for all or part of the day, call the church office at (619) 582-8480 and ask to be in contact with Patti Ireland.
Registration is still open ($175.00) to play in the tournament, and closes September 1. Non-golfing PUM supporters are also welcome to attend. The cost is $25.00 and includes the banquet dinner after the tournament. For more information call the church office and ask for Steven Wood, the G4G ambassador to sign up or answer your questions.
